Plate gate valve is a sliding valve whose closing part is a parallel wedge disc. Its closing part may be a single disc or a double disc with stretch structure. The wedge disc slides on the both seats. Plate gate valve is suitable for media withs uspended particles. Characteristics of plate gate valve: flow resistance is small; sealing face of its seat will not damaged by temperature distortion of the body.
